Plant Care Guidelines

Adaptation:  Throughout the United States.

Flowering Time:  Summer and fall.

Light:  Full sun.

Planting Time:  Spring, when all danger of frost is past.

Soil:  Well drained.

Fertilizer:  Fertilize with a balanced plant food according to label directions.

Water:
How much: Apply enough water to plants in the ground to wet the soil 6 to 8 inches deep.

Containers: Apply enough water so that about 10 percent of the water drains from the bottom of the container.

How often: Water when the soil 1 inch below the surface is just barely moist.

Handling:  If plants become rangy, pinch back about half of the growth to force additional bushy growth.
